Distrito T-Mobile San Juan (PR)

Distrito T-Mobile is an entertainment district in the heart of San Juan, in Purto Rico, offering 15 different businees inside, including restaurants, sport bars, a cinema and is crossed by a series of zipline that literally allow you to fly over it!
Was opened in 2021 but as often happens in new develop areas, the satellite view of the location just showed a big park area.
It needed and deserved to have a completely renewed satellite image, and that’s what we did, not without some big challenges to overcome!
Close to the airport = No fly zone!
There were two main challenges to overtake to archive a great result… First, it’s a very crowded area, so we had to plan the operations accordingly to have the proper light to capture great footage with the drones while respecting the prescription to don’t fly over or close people.
But the most complicated problem was that the Distrito is very close to the “Fernando Luis Ribas Dominicci Regional Airport” that, as all the other aiports, is a no fly zone!
Thanks to the cooperation of the local airport management however, we manage to get the permits in time for the expected capture date, and we were able to cover the whole area and create the actual satellite view present on Google Maps.
