The first step of a big project

Bormio 360 Adventure Trail is an ambitious project of the Bormio tourism board with the goal of creating a ring of paths around Bormio and part of the more significant project, Valtellina Outdoor.

The total length of the ring is 140 Km and the whole path is divided into 10 stages, passable on foot or by mountain bike and offers different locations suitable for almost every kind of walker/biker.

We have taken care of mapping the first part of stage number 10, “The Spirits Trail” creating the track that didn’t exist before, on Google Maps and Mapillary, and providing the Street View on both platforms,

To map the trail we used or custom TrekPackPro equipped with a customized Insta 360 Titan, the only camera able to deliver high-quality 11K. Street View, with unparalleled precision, thanks to our TrekPro Antenna.

This particular trail passes over the town of Bormio and in some places where the trees are less dense, it is possible to admire the town from above, nestled between the breathtaking Dolomites

 

All the routes are well-marked across the path with an easy-to-recognize green sign showing the name and number of the path, and a QR code to connect to the relative page with further information.

The Google Maps Street View/navigation will be going to complete the dedicated page providing a visual preview of the path, and the possibility to navigate using just the popular application from Google.
