Luxury resorts in Zanzibar (TZ)

One of the most widespread image problems in Africa, and one of the most detrimental to the look of a luxury resort, is the old, low-resolution satellite image, which more often than not shows the resort without the latest improvements , or in some more serious cases, such as the LUX* Marijani in Zanzibar, even under construction, contrary to the reality of things.
How we solve this challenge?
The approach used was very similar for the two activities, first discussing with the owners to decide the best day and time for the shooting, giving them the opportunity to make the locations perfect.
Afterwards, an accurate flight plan was created for our drones dedicated to aerial photogrammetry, and after having verified all the necessary permits with the police, in accordance with local laws, we proceeded with the flights.
Subsequently, our team processed the images, making the updated version of the satellite view available after a few days, which was immediately provided to customers, in parallel with the publication of the updated images on Google Maps and Google Earth, so that, during the ‘inevitable time of publication, customers have been able to use the updated image.
Karafuu Hotel Beach Resort & SPA
With the new sea view villas missing, and the very low image quality, the “Karafuu Hotel Beach Resort & SPA” was unable to convey, via its satellite image, the true essence of the place, resulting in it being much less attractive in photos, than the location actually is.
LUX Marijani
The satellite image of LUX Marijani had been captured during the construction of the structure, which therefore appeared incomplete, and completely devoid of greenery. Furthermore, the beach was practically absent.
